This project focuses on foodways among Asian migrant households in the Greater Toronto Area, especially eating & shopping patterns. My specific objective was to learn more about how foodways and domestic habits have evolved among Chinese families in Canada. I planned to study two Chinese-Canadian couples. However, my interviews on such topics became limited to the female member of each family as the males did not make themselves available. The data I collected from them has been incorporated into the class map on Asian-Canadian foodways.
